3. Event Tickets and Registration

3.1 Ticket Purchases

When purchasing tickets for Tech Talk Augusta events, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. All ticket sales are processed through our secure payment partners.

3.2 Event Attendance

Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise specified. You must present valid identification matching your registration at check-in for paid events.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Event Ticket Refunds

We offer refunds for event tickets under the following conditions:

  • Full Refund: Requests made 7 or more days before the event date
  • 50% Refund: Requests made 3-6 days before the event date
  • No Refund: Requests made less than 3 days before the event date

4.2 Event Cancellation by Tech Talk Augusta

If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund within 5-10 business days. We will notify you via email at least 48 hours in advance when possible.

4.3 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at hi@techtalkaugusta.com with:

  • Your name and email used for registration
  • Event name and date
  • Order/confirmation number
  • Reason for refund request

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

5. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding a charge or service, please contact us at hi@techtalkaugusta.com before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly.

Our dispute resolution process:

  1. Submit your concern via email with relevant details
  2. We will acknowledge your dispute within 2 business days
  3. We will investigate and respond with a resolution within 7 business days
  4. If you are not satisfied, we will work with you to find a fair solution

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 Cancelling Your Registration

You may cancel your event registration at any time through your confirmation email or by contacting us directly. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of your cancellation as outlined in our Refund Policy above.

6.2 Membership or Subscription Cancellation

If you have a recurring membership or subscription with Tech Talk Augusta, you may cancel at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

7. Donations and Sponsorships

Donations and sponsorship contributions to Tech Talk Augusta are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 7 days at hi@techtalkaugusta.com.

8. Promotional Terms and Conditions

8.1 Discount Codes and Promotions

From time to time, we may offer promotional discounts. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotional codes cannot be combined with other offers

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at Tech Talk Augusta events are required to adhere to our community guidelines. We are committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. Violations may result in removal from the event without refund.

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Tech Talk Augusta or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

Tech Talk Augusta is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or attendance at our events. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service or event in question.
